Welcome to the Donelson Hermitage Warriors Football Program.  The Booster Club officers are excited about the Warriors 2009 football season.  We have an amazing group of athletes. (Players and Cheerleaders) We have just completed our Training Camp and are now preparing for a wonderful Warrior Season.  In addition to promoting warrior spirit, the Booster club also provides financial support so that the Donelson Warrior program and coaching staff will have the equipment and highly motivated players they need to be successful.

 

 

Toward this effort, we invite all of you to join the DW Booster Club. Regardless of your athlete’s classification (Pee- wee – AAA) you will find your participation useful to the booster club as well as a rewarding experience. We have a lot of work and fun ahead of us. There is something for every parent. Please take your time and look at the different committees available.

 

 

 On 30 July, we will start sign ups for the booster club.  Please join us. Our athletes need and deserve our support.

 

Fundraising Committee- Coordinate fundraisers for field and teams.  Select fundraisers to support all athlete activities and field expenses. Work with team moms with special fundraisers for activities selected by Coach (Bowl and Tournament events) Members with work with other committees to assist with budgets to determine the expenses for the year. Together the budgets will determine long term and short term monetary requirements.

 

Membership and Sponsorship committee-Coordinate Booster club membership and corporate sponsor shipment. Maintain data base of volunteers and booster club members.

 

Homecoming and Spirit Committee- Coordinate Homecoming Week activities to include

activities at the field, Dance and photos.  Will also coordinate with team moms’ participation in the Donelson Christmas parade.

 

Field Committee- Coordinate volunteers to assist will all activities at the field during the season. Coordinate volunteers to work the chains during home games, coordinate clean up after games and events at the field. (To include assist with gate detail and parking during home bowl games.)  Work with team mom to host special events for players at the field during the season. (i.e. Pizza night, ice cream sundae night or movie night)

 

Banquet committee –Coordinate all activities for end of year party or Field Banquet. Work with team moms for event location, trophy purchase and agenda for event.

 

 The Committee Director with meet with the Booster Club executive committee twice a month (min) to ensure all goals are being met. This meeting will be open to all Booster club members.
